The Exonia Veterinary Emergency Service (EVES) was set up in August 2013 with the aim of offering local and affordable small animal emergency services to practices in and around Exeter and South and East Devon. We have had an experienced vet and nurse on site every night since then and have saved the lives of thousands of pets during this time.
EVES is a dedicated out of hours emergency veterinary service. Working out of St Davids Veterinary Hospital in Exeter (which can be found next to St Davids train station), EVES has been set up to provide emergency care for your pet whilst your normal vets are closed and off-duty.
If your practice has chosen to use the EVES service then please refer to your daytime vets opening hours to see when we are here for you. Whenever your practice is closed – we are here to help!
Being a dedicated veterinary emergency service ensures that:
- Your own vet is able to rest so that they are fresh and ready to see you the next day.
- South and East Devon pet owners can rest assured that they will have access to a veterinary service that is solely dedicated to emergency care.
